I wanted to send you and your staff a very special thank you for the wonderful service we felt we received using your daycare services. You may recall our little black & white shih-tzu / bichon named Sampson.
My husband and I were in Ahwatukee for a month enjoying your beautiful weather and getting away from the (cold) Canadian winter! We were thrilled to see your ad in the local newspaper and to find that your Better Business Bureau "A" rating was well deserved. I was so impressed that you and your staff recognized our pet and called him by name, even on only our 2nd visit to your establishment! What service! You made us feel special and we thank you for that. (In fact, I've been going to the same groomer at home for 6 years, and never once has the owner or staff called my dog by his name in recognition.)

I have had several pets try and almost accomplish escaping from a grooming facility. It is (was) a great concern of mine, until I met you - one of the reasons I have followed you from our initial introduction, to your lovely facility is the care and concern you have always shown for safety/security. In fact, while reading your newsletter, I realized, that I have not been "worried sick" when my babes are in your care - and you may not remember him - Charlie - the greatest escape artist in the world - after two or three groomings,I stopped worrying when he was with you. You run a fantastic grooming facility, and I "sing" your praises every chance I get.

Righting a Wrong
In August, we had a surprising visit from one of our regulars. They had tried out a mobile groomer and received shocking results. Happily though, we were able to right the wrong for this little guy and he was fabulous as ever!

"I was informed [by the mobile groomer] that this little Shih Tzu is the most difficult dog she had ever had to work on. She brought him back after an hour and half unfinished, matted hair still attached, ears cut uneven and not cleaned out, nails not cut, teeth not brushed, anal glands not cleaned, not washed, severely razor burned on his neck. She complained that she was unhappy with the results, he bites, and doesn't like his face touched and it has been too long since he was last groomed & told me how easy they usually are. I told her his regular groomer never had a problem and she said I should take him there and she would like to know how they do it. I was shocked and bewildered at the lack of customer service and poor judgement. She should have brought the dog back to me as soon as she realized she couldn't handle the job. That same day he was taken to his regular groomer to fix what was messed up and finish grooming him properly. Malinda's Pampered Pets is happy to work on any dog and does a fab job!"Mandi
My dog Mandi used to shake when I took her to Petsmart to be groomed. Then I started taking her to Malinda's and now when we mention going to Malinda's she wags her tail and jumps for joy. The staff is kind and they love the animals as though they were children. I highly recommend them!

Mahoney
Mahoney is a rescue dog (German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix) who was in need of a lot of TLC after we brought him home. He was very sick. We nursed him back to health, and soon had him attending obedience classes. Each time he went to his weekly class he would have to warm up to the other dogs, but always loved playing with and being around them.
Since Mahoney is a very energetic "only dog", we had him try out the daycare at Malinda's Pampered Pets. He visits Malinda's about twice a week and stays there for boarding when our family goes out of town.
Mahoney still has some fears, but going to Malinda's has helped him become better socialized so that he can be more comfortable around people and other dogs. Since Malinda has an open play area for the dogs, Mahoney gets a lot of exercise and comes home tired. He is familiar with the drive to Malinda's and gets so excited when our car pulls into the parking lot. He can't wait to play with his favorite friends who he always sees there!
Malinda has a friendly and knowledgeable group of people working for her. Malinda's Pampered Pets is Mahoney's "home away from home".

Malinda's Pampered Pets Is Wonderful
I started using Malinda's about a year ago and I'm very glad I found her place. I really hate leaving my dogs for any length of time and they have been wonderful at keeping their appointments as short as possible. I used to go to Pretty Paws but was very disappointed with the hours and hours they would take. I would leave my dogs in the morning and not be able to pick them up until it was 4 or 5pm! Now they are routinely done before noon and come out looking and smelling beautiful.

Trusted and Professional
I have used Malinda's services for many years. I trust her implicitly with my dogs and would not take them anywhere else. My dog, who is somewhat nervous is happy when he walks in the door and when we leave. After losing a pet due to a groomer's lack of responsibility, I'M VERY PICKY on who I will leave my pets with. If you want a groomer that takes care of your loved ones as much as her own, use Malinda's Pampered Pets.

I have a medium sized cockapoo that I used to take to Petsmart to get groomed. I was never happy with their service - they would give him the atrocious poodle cut even when I specifically asked not to and I noticed sometimes his breath was still smelly even though teeth brushing was in the package. He was also deathly afraid every time we went to the stark white room in the back of Petsmart.
I was SO happy to have discovered Malinda's. Not only was it much less expensive, they service was amazing! My dog came out looking adorable, following the exact instructions I gave them. He was clean, smelled fresh and even fresh breath. The groomer also found a tiny weed lodged deep in his paw and took the time to tell me how to check for things like that. The place also looked adorable and front desk service is friendly as well. Arthur and I are so glad to have found a new groomer!

Sampson is not accustomed to being left in daycare - it was only his 2nd time when we came to see you - so you can imagine our apprehension at not knowing how he would react to being left. After Day 1, I knew he was well cared for and everyone showed concern for his well-being. It was just such a relief having your services available to us when we wanted to spend a day shopping or sight-seeing and knowing having a dog along would create a problem.
I'm sorry I wasn't able to thank you in person, but I did want you to know that we have never been more impressed with customer service as we were with your business. Congratulations. In this challenging market, I think you and your staff deserve the recognition for doing an outstanding job.
